- Does this fit to isofix?Hi I'm looking at the safe & sound hi liner car seat and it says it is tethered to the car anchor point but then in the specs it says 'no' to isofix - I thought these were one in the same?
Hi Sarah, Thank you for your inquiry, The Isofix and the Tether point are two different things, Isofix means you can install your seat using Isofix bars at the bottom of the seat than connect to points in between your seats, The Tether is a strap that connects to an anchor point either in the back of the front passenger seat for forward facing or in the back of the back seats either in the boot floor or the back window ledge. We hope this helps. Question by : Sarah Broomhall on Aug 6, 2018 10:21:27 AM - Does the tether strap always need to be used?Hi, Hi, Do I have to use the tether strap? We need to use this for a trip and the taxi company said they don't have anchor bolts. Is it ok without the tether straps as it is a booster seat? Or like car seats, does the tether strap have to be used? Thanks.
Hi Holly, Thank you for your enquiry, as the Britax Safe n Sound Hi liner is AUS Safety Standards a top tether must be used when this is installed in a vehicle. We hope this helps. ?For further information on this or any of our other products available, if you follow the link https://www.babyonthemove.co.nz/store-locations/ this will take you to our online store finder. Question by : Gemma on Mar 29, 2019 04:07:03 PM - What is the upper size/weight restriction please?I still have my nearly 10 year old in one of these and I wondered if it was still our best option or if there was something more suitable
Hi Claire, thank you for your enquiry, the Safe and Sound Hi Liner is a great option until your child reaches the upper shoulder markers, or until he reaches 148cm and can sit comfortably in your vehicle. You are always welcome to visit your local store and one of our trained techs could assess your child in the seat. Question by : Claire Butler on Jun 9, 2019 08:35:51 AM - What is the starting age/weight for this seat?
Hi Nina, thank you for your enquiry, the approx age is from 4-8 years however this is done with height markers, not weight or age so we would suggest if it is a booster you are interested in to pop into your local store to have your child fitted in the seat to see if it will be suitable. Question by : Nina on Jun 16, 2019 05:16:18 AM - Does the Diono Monterey XT have a back tether strap or is it only fixable using the LATCH?
Hi Keri, thank you for your enquiry, the Diono Monterey XT does not have a tether strap it is only the latch that keeps the seat fixed. We hope this helps. Question by : Keri on Oct 27, 2019 08:00:19 PM - Does this recline? Our back seats recline, will this booster recline too or is it in a fixed position?
Hi Amanda, thanks for your inquiry. The Britax Hi-Liner booster doesn't have a recline feature and the back is fixed but when placed this booster into a vehicle it does naturally recline with the shape of your seat because the top tether is required to be used. If you recline your seat back more than normal it probably won't work. We hope that helps answer your query.

Hi there, thank you for your inquiry, the width of the Hi Liner is 41cm, I would suggest possibly having a fitting for three across to confirm. I hope this helps.
