Hi Karen, Thank you for your enquiry, the 5 Point harness in the Recaro Young Sport Hero has been safety tested upto 18kgs, we would not recommend using the harness after this weight as it would be against manufacturers instruction and may compromise the safety of the child in the seat, The Young Sport Hero can be used as a booster without the harness after 18kgs upto 36kgs.
